Terms of service

Last updated: April 2026

1. Marketplace facilitator

GenoVaq Ltd (“GenoVaq”) operates an online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of canine and sports horse breeding genetics. GenoVaq is a marketplace facilitator and is not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers, and is not a veterinary or clinical service provider.

2. Commission

GenoVaq charges a 10% commission on the gross transaction value of every successful sale. Commission is automatically deducted from the seller's payout via Stripe Connect. Featured listing fees and advertising are charged separately.

3. Seller obligations

Sellers must complete KYC, provide accurate listings, hold all required veterinary certifications, comply with import/export rules in destination jurisdictions, and ship within the time agreed with the buyer.

4. Buyer obligations

Buyers are responsible for verifying that the proposed transaction is lawful in their jurisdiction, complying with import requirements, and seeking independent veterinary advice prior to use.

5. Disputes

Buyers may open a dispute within 14 days of expected delivery. GenoVaq will review the dispute and resolve in favour of the appropriate party. Outcomes may include refund to the buyer or release of funds to the seller.

6. Prohibited content

Listings must accurately describe the genetics offered. Misrepresentation, undisclosed health issues, and offers that violate animal welfare law are prohibited and grounds for suspension.
